What's The Big Deal About MSG? Part 3

This is part 3 and the last one I am doing on this topic. Please, comment and let me know what you think and if you learned anything, or if you have a different opinion than before.

This link has a list of other names used in labeling for MSG.

This is an interesting link that shows diseases or problems that are affected by MSG. I encourage you to check them out because I know a lot of people that would see at least one thing on this list that affects them.

This website said the following & has a list of names that MSG is hidden in.

"Some of the common reactive symptoms that you may experience from ingesting MSG are:

Headaches, migraines, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, upset stomach, asthmatic attacks, skin rashes, heart palpitations, anxiety or panic attacks, shortness of breath, balance problems, heart attack like symptoms, allergy type symptoms, flushing, mood swings, behavioral disorders (especially in children and teens) mental confusion, runny nose, bags under the eyes, urinary and prostate problems, partial paralysis, mouth lesions and depression.

In addition, there is some medical research linking MSG to Alzheimer's Disease, ALS (Lou Gehrig's), and Parkinson's.

MSG reactions are remarkably consistent and stereotyped for each individual. That is, a person who reacts initially with a headache will continue to get headaches with repeated exposures; with subsequent exposures, whatever their initial reaction was, they will exhibit that same symptom again and again."

If you want more information I found a book on the subject of Excitotoxins.
